「突然笑い出す」を意味する”burst into laughter”と”burst out laughing”の違いは何ですか？

どちらも同じ意味です。
burst into〜＋名詞：突然〜し始める
– 泣く・笑う・歌う・怒る時などに使う。
burst out＋動詞-ing：突然〜し始める
– 泣く・笑う時などに使う。

また、burst into/ burst out は、「〜に乱入する / 〜から飛び出す」の意味もあります。
部屋などに突然乱入する、または部屋から急に飛び出すような表現をする場合に使います。

他にも、burst out には「突然叫ぶ」の意味もあり、”He burst out.”（彼は突然叫んだ。）のような使い方も出来ます。

John burst into song, which surprised me.
ジョンは突然歌い出したので、私は驚いた。

Right after the car accident took place, the car burst into flames.
車の事故が起こった後すぐに、車が燃え上がった。

Children burst out crying when their teacher announced that she will be leaving school.
子供たちは、彼らの先生が学校を辞めることを聞いてワッと泣き出した。

My little brother burst into my room while I was talking with my friend on the phone.
私が友達と電話で話している際中に、弟が急に部屋に入って来た。
