society と community の違いは何ですか？

society は社会という意味で、一般的に国や民族レベルの広い範囲での集合体を指します。
一方、
community は地域社会を指し、地域の団体や同じカテゴリーの属する団体などに使います。

society よりも狭い範囲の社会には community を使いましょう。

We want to belong in a safe community.
私たちは安全なコミュニティに所属したいと思っています。

This is a community for children who have lost their parents.
これは、両親を亡くした子供たちのためのコミュニティです。

Society is changing every now and then.
社会は時々刻々と変化しています。
